West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s big statement has come out in the Kolkata rape and murder case. He has challenged the victim’s family to show evidence of when and where they were asked to pay the money.
CM Mamata Banerjee said, ‘The victim’s family should present evidence that where I talked about money. This is drama and propaganda. In fact, the victim’s family of the female trainee doctor has accused the Kolkata Police saying that a police officer offered them money at the time their daughter’s body was kept in front of them.
The victim’s parents said they wanted to keep the body safe, but there was a lot of pressure on them. Hundreds of policemen surrounded him. Such a situation arose, after which we were forced to prepare for the funeral. Everything was done in a hurry, even the money for the funeral was not collected from the family. Some policemen tried to get signatures on blank paper, which they tore up and threw away.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is attacking the Mamata government in this matter. The BJP says that there is a battle between the defenders and the destroyers of the Constitution. BJP has demanded that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should also undergo a polygraph test. The CBI is investigating the rape and murder case of a trainee doctor. Accused Sanjay Roy has been arrested and Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of Kolkata RG Car Hospital, has also been arrested.
The Kolkata case was heard by the Supreme Court here on Monday. Meanwhile, the court has given a big order. The court has asked the doctors to return to work by 5 pm tomorrow. The court has ordered that no action will be taken against the doctors who are returning to work. In fact, the Bengal government said during the hearing that 23 people died because doctors were not at work.
