A brutal husband who killed his own wife in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda has been convicted and sentenced to death. The case is of the year 2020. Here a man doubted his wife’s character. He killed his wife. The head was then cut off and separated from the body. After this he reached the police station on foot with the severed head. Here he also confessed his crime to the police.

In this case, the court found the accused husband guilty and sentenced him to death. During this period, the prosecution presented 11 witnesses, 5 judges were changed, more than 60 dates were adjourned. The case is from Neta town of Baberu Kotwali area. Kinnar Yadav (39 years), who lives here, suspected his wife Vimala Devi of having an illicit relationship with someone. On October 9, 2020, he allegedly first killed his wife by slitting her throat with an axe, then also assaulted a man (the woman’s alleged lover). After this he reached the police station on foot holding his wife’s severed head by the hair and told the police officers present – “Sir, I killed her.”

The pedestrians as well as the policemen were stunned to see the severed head. The police sent the mutilated body of the woman for post-mortem and sent her injured lover to the hospital. After this, a case under Section 302 and other sections was registered and the accused husband was sent to jail. After that, the investigation of the case was started.
