Beating for raising religious slogans
In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, a girl was beaten up for not chanting religious slogans. The whole affair is between two community boys. A teenager was severely beaten up by youths for refusing to chant slogans of a particular religion. About half a dozen boys, seen in the video, grabbed the youth and beat him up mercilessly. In the video, the youths were forcing the girl to raise slogans by stepping on her chest and neck. When the youth refused to raise slogans, the youths started beating him.
In this one minute and 23 second video, half a dozen boys are beating up a teenage girl. Meanwhile boys from one community are beating up a teenager from another community and stepping on his chest asking him to shout ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Along with him, other boys also ask the teenager to chant slogans. This incident has come to light after a controversy that occurred while playing cricket. The assailant was returning from playing cricket. On the way, he was surrounded and arrested and asked to chant slogans. When the teenager remained silent, the youths beat him.
There was pressure to raise slogans
In the video, it can be clearly seen that half a dozen boys took a teenager to a field. There he was first beaten and forced to raise slogans. After this the boys grabbed her hair and forced her to chant slogans. In the video, some youths are also seen holding shoes in their hands. After the video of the incident surfaced three days ago, the police officials immediately took notice of the matter. Mithanpura police station has been instructed to take action. After this, the police raided Mohan Sah’s gang and arrested three youths and interrogated them. Several others have been identified and the search is on. The victim’s father has lodged an FIR at the Mithanpura police station.
This incident happened after an old dispute
In the same case, City ASP Bhanu Pratap Singh said that the viral video has been investigated. A cyber expert team has been ordered to investigate. Looking at the video, it is seen that a person from a community is being forced to chant a particular slogan. A fight broke out between two groups during a cricket match during Mahashivratri. The accused was waiting for an opportunity to take revenge on the boy. Then several days later when the boy came face to face, the beating happened. Currently, the police is investigating the matter.
