Kailash Gehlot

On the 78th Independence Day, Home Minister Kailash Gehlot hoisted the tricolor in place of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The flag hoisting program was held at the Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi. This is the first time in the last 10 years that a minister has hoisted the flag in Delhi in the absence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Addressing the people on the occasion, Gehlot said that today is a very emotional day for me. Arvind Kejriwal is a modern freedom fighter, he accepted going to jail but did not bow down. Today, even after so many years of independence, one of the elected chief ministers of the country, Arvind, has been jailed.

Gehlot said, today on the occasion of 78th Independence Day, I wish you all the best for how many sacrifices were required to get this freedom. Salute to those freedom fighters and soldiers. We did not get freedom so that the elected chief minister could be thrown in jail. Rather, it was given to eradicate poverty, unemployment and illiteracy from the country, this was done by Arvind Kejriwal.

No force can undermine the democracy of a country – Kailash Gehlot

Delhi Home Minister Kailash Gehlot said that no force can weaken the country’s democracy. Gehlot called Manish Sisodia the father of education and said that Manish’s bail was proof of this. He further said that soon Arvind Kejriwal will also come out and hoist the tricolor for countless years. Anti-national forces have tried to stop Kejriwalji but the constitution of the country is so strong that no force can stop them. The Kejriwal government has proved that anything is possible if the intention is clear and the government is honest. Gehlot said that many parts of our country do not have electricity but Delhi has 24 hours electricity. Kejriwalji waived off electricity up to 200 units and halved it to 400 units.

Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj posted an emotional post

Delhi government ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj shared an emotional post on X (Twitter). Atishi said in his post, ‘Today when the whole country is celebrating the festival of Azadi, Arvind Kejriwal ji is in jail in a false case, when even during the time of the British, someone raised his voice against the dictatorship, he was thrown in jail. He said that Kailash Gehlot ji has sent a message to the whole of Delhi that no matter what the dictatorship tries, Arvind Kejriwal’s revolution of providing better facilities to every person of Delhi will continue.

At the same time, Saurabh Bhardwaj said in his post, “Today the whole country is celebrating independence and our beloved Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is behind bars for many months in a false case, the country will soon get freedom from this arbitrariness. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat, Jai Constitution.
