Monsoon conditions are active in Delhi. The sky was cloudy since Saturday morning. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for lightning and rain. According to IMD, this weekend is going to be rainy. That is, if you are planning to go somewhere, definitely keep things with you to protect yourself from rain. A similar situation will be seen in the entire NCR. Rain may stop from Monday.

The rains in Delhi for the past two days have given relief to people but they have not been able to get rid of the humid heat. After heavy rain on Friday morning, people were sweating in the afternoon. People breathed a sigh of relief as the wind blew at night. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Saturday is likely to be 34 degrees Celsius and minimum 26 degrees Celsius. In NCR, Noida will see maximum temperature of 35 and minimum temperature of 27 and Ghaziabad will see maximum temperature of 34 and minimum temperature of 26.

Rain will continue till August 1

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the process of rain in Delhi will continue till August 1. Sometimes it will rain heavily and sometimes it will rain intermittently. Rain is likely to continue on Saturday and Sunday as well. Rain may taper off on Monday, July 29. A yellow alert has been issued for July 30. Light or rain showers are likely on August 1. The rains so far have worsened the situation in many parts of Delhi. People are greatly disturbed due to waterlogging. Roads and houses are facing difficulties due to waterlogging. Waterlogging in the underpass had led to a jam.

Heavy rains in UP-Uttarakhand

Uttar Pradesh is receiving heavy rains due to active monsoon. It is raining heavily, especially in western Uttar Pradesh. Many districts including Agra, Eta, Kasganj, Bareilly, Bandhaun, Pilibhit, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar have been receiving rain since Friday. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of lightning in many areas of the state. Rains are now becoming a disaster in Uttarakhand. Landslides have been happening in the hills due to rain for several days. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Dehradun district, in view of which schools have been closed. According to IMD, Garhwal region of Uttarakhand is likely to receive heavy rains.
