A medical report has arrived in the case of rape of a minor girl in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. A medical examination revealed that the minor was raped. In this case, the accused SP leader Nawab Singh has been arrested by the police and sent to jail. The bail hearing of Nawab Singh Yadav in the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case is scheduled today. A bench of Justice Alka Yadav will hear the case.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Kumar Anand said that a medical examination of the victim was conducted with the consent of her parents, which revealed that she had been raped. The victim has recorded her statement before the magistrate, in which she has alleged that she was raped. The Superintendent of Police said that during the medical examination, it became clear that the victim had been raped. The police have added relevant sections against the accused. He said that legal action will be taken with the newly added sections.
A case will also be filed against the victim’s aunt
The SP said that charges would also be framed against the girl’s aunt, who is accused of bringing the minor to the accused. She was called for a statement, but did not appear before the police. Meanwhile, the girl’s aunt claimed that she is being falsely implicated. The victim’s aunt also accused another local SP leader of conspiring in the matter. He said, “On the night of the incident, I was returning from Lucknow with my niece and I decided to go to Yadav’s college to condole his mother’s death.”

BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi claimed that Nawab Singh Yadav is not only a junior leader of SP but has also been a representative of Dimple Yadav. However, the SP has distanced itself from Nawab Singh Yadav in this entire matter. Kannauj SP district president Kaleem Khan issued a statement saying that Nawab was involved in anti-party activities for almost 5 years. He is not even a party member. However, he is being called a party member to tarnish the image of the Samajwadi Party.
