Vikramaditya Singh and Kangana Ranaut
BJP MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh and actress Kangana Ranaut frequently makes headlines for her statements. Once again he has made a statement that has heated up politics. First of all let us tell you Kangana’s statement. In fact, the BJP MP has targeted the Himachal state government and alleged that the state government takes loans and gives them to former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, which has left the state coffers empty. Now Congress has countered Kangana’s statement.
Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh said Kangana Ranaut’s comments on Sonia Gandhi showed the Mandi MP’s “intellectual bankruptcy”. She said the Congress would file a defamation case against her if she failed to provide proof of her statements.
‘Kangana must show proof or apologize’
Vikramaditya Singh said that we respect Kangana as an MP, but the way she has made a statement against our national leader Sonia Gandhi is unfortunate. I think even an illiterate person would not do that. The Minister made it clear that either Kangana should prove her point and show evidence or apologize within a week, otherwise the Congress would file a case against her.

The minister further said that there could not be a more foolish statement than that money coming from the center or the state for development is being given to Sonia Gandhi. The minister said that he openly challenges BJP MP Kangana to show proof of wrongdoing of even Rs 1 or apologize to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for making such baseless and unfair allegations.
‘State’s relief fund goes to Sonia’s relief fund’
Kangana had reached a village in Shimla to launch a BJP membership drive. Meanwhile, while addressing the public, he attacked the Congress. He said that everyone knows that corruption is on the rise in the state and the Congress-ruled state governments have hollowed out their states. He said that the Himachal government takes disaster loans and sends them to Sonia Gandhi, due to which the state’s exchequer has become empty. The MP said that if we (Centre) give disaster fund, it goes to CM relief fund, but everyone knows that from there it goes to Sonia relief fund.
