Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2898 AD has released in theatres. The film earned a bumper Rs 191 crore on the first day. However, the film’s earnings at the domestic box office saw a big drop on Friday. The film is receiving a lot of appreciation from critics and audiences. But not only common people but film stars too are showering love on Kalki. Now Superstar Rajinikanth watched Kalki 2898 AD and gave his reaction.
Rajinikanth posted a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday. In the post, he praised all the stars and the director of the film. Rajinikanth wrote, “Kalki Dekhi! Wow! What an amazing movie. Director Nag Ashwin has taken Indian cinema to a different level. Kudos to my friend Ashwini Dutt (Producer), Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and the team of Kalki. Looking forward to the second part. God bless.”

Kalki Box Office
Kalki did a worldwide business of Rs 191.5 crore on the first day. As for the domestic box office, the film earned a total of Rs 95.3 crore in five languages. The Telugu version of the film earned Rs. 65.8 crore business, the Tamil version grossed Rs. 4.5 crore business, the Hindi version made Rs. 22.5 crore business, Kannada Rs. 0.3 crore and Malayalam Rs. 2.2 crore business was done. The next day saw a significant drop in the film’s earnings. The film earned a total of Rs 54 crores in five languages. Of this, the film grossed Rs 25.65 crore from Telugu, Rs 3.5 crore from Tamil, Rs 22.5 crore from Hindi, Rs 0.35 crore from Kannada and Rs 2 crore from Malayalam. The film’s earnings have reached Rs 149.3 crore at the domestic box office in two days.
Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Vaijayanti Movies. The makers have spent around 600 crore rupees to make this film. Stars like Dilkar Salman, Vijay Devarakonda, Keerthy Suresh and Mrinal Thakur will also be seen doing cameos in the film.
