Talking about Kalki 2898 AD, famous PR Suresh PRO shared this information on social media and shared a government document. The documents are signed by the Telangana government and it is written that the film will be released at 5:30 AM for 8 days from June 27 to July 4. Apart from this, movie tickets will also be increased by Rs 70 in regular theaters and Rs 100 in multiplexes. If reports are to be believed, this is being done so that the area does not become overcrowded and crowded to watch the film. This increase can be changed after the 4th date. However, this notification has been issued only for theaters in Telangana.

Talking about the film, Nag Ashwin is directing it and the film is hitting the theaters on June 27. The advance bookings of the film have received very good response in America. If reports are to be believed, the film has earned around Rs 350 crore including advance bookings. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 600 crore. Apart from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, the film also stars Disha Patni, Shashwat Chatterjee, Dulquer Salmaan, Amitabh Bachchan, Brahmanandan and Kamal Haasan. Now it remains to be seen how the film earns at the box office.
