Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has met Ashwini Vaishnav regarding several projects and rail line expansion for his Lok Sabha constituency. Along with this, he also discussed about the number of trains. Jyotiraditya Scindia reached the railway minister’s office in the evening to meet him, after completing all formal meetings at his ministry building on Monday.

The Union Minister spoke to the Railway Minister to extend railway lines and run new trains at many places in the region. Also the trains which have stopped. They have also demanded a rerun. The Union Minister specifically discussed the construction of Gwalior Railway Station and its construction, the Union Minister has sought to speed up the expansion and construction of new Gwalior Railway Station.

Also demanded to organize an IT conclave in Gwalior

Union Minister Scindia drew special attention of IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to the possibilities of IT City in Gwalior. Along with setting up companies in the IT Park of Gwalior, there has also been a demand to organize an IT conclave to attract IT companies to the city. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that thousands of students are becoming experts in IT every year in Gwalior.

What did Scindia demand?

  • Demand to run new train from Gwalior Shivpuri-Guna-Ashoknagar to Katra
  • Ujjain-Jasdih (Gonda – Jharkhand) – Panathesan (Jharkhand) via Guna – Shivpuri Gwalior.
  • New train from Kota-Ayodhya or Ujjain via Ayodhya (Guna-Ashoknagar-Shivpuri).
  • Gwalior-Bengaluru new train operation via Shivpuri-Guna-Ashoknagar-Bina.

Scindia has asked for approval of a new railway line from Chanderi to Lilatpur to Piprai, a demand that has been ongoing since 2013. Along with this, a request has been made for reconstruction of Biral Nagar railway station. There is a demand to run Gwalior Guna intercity train even at night. Kota Indore Express has also been recommended to be stopped in crime. A new railway line has been asked to be constructed from Shivpuri to Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh.
