Junior NTR donates for rain victims in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are receiving heavy rains. Incessant rains have created flood-like conditions. Roads have turned into rivers due to rain. With the help of drones, food and medical supplies are being delivered to people in flood-affected areas. Apart from this, rail and road traffic in both the states are being affected due to rain. Many people have also lost their lives due to torrential rains. Saddened to see the condition of people in such a situation, Jr. NTR has announced to donate 50 lakh rupees each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Junior NTR expressed deep concern for the flood affected people and prayed for their speedy recovery. He wrote, “I am deeply saddened by the floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana due to heavy rains, I pray to God that Telugu people recover from this calamity soon.” Apart from Jr. NTR, the makers of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have also come forward to help the flood victims. The production team has announced a donation of Rs 25 lakh to the relief fund.
I am deeply shocked by the flood disaster caused by the recent heavy rains in two Telugu states. I pray to God to save Telugu people from this calamity.

PM took information from Chief Ministers
Due to heavy rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to CM N Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy of the two states on Sunday. He assured all possible help to the Chief Ministers of both the states. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has announced Rs 5 lakh as compensation to the families of the deceased. At the same time, he has decided to request the Center to declare the floods in the state as a national calamity. 26 teams of NDRF have been deployed for relief and rescue operations in Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, the state CM Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the flood affected areas. He has also asked all cabinet ministers to keep an eye.
