Two sons had opposed their own mother’s bail in a court in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain. The sons told the court that they would kill their mother if she was released from prison. After the hearing, the court refused to grant bail to the woman. The entire matter is linked to the massacre in Ujjain two months ago.
Mishrilal Rathore, a resident of Bilautipura, Ujjain, was brutally murdered on 11 May 2024. Mishrilal’s wife Krishnabai was accused of causing the murder. Krishnabai, along with her relative Maya, contracted a young man named Gopal Chaudhary and Karan to carry out the crime.
In the whole matter, the police of Jivajiganj police station registered a case of murder and arrested the deceased’s wife and two other accused and sent them to jail. Advocate Vinod Sharma said that Krishna Bai had applied for bail, which was opposed in court by Lokesh Rathore and Niklesh, sons of deceased Misrilal. An application was made before the court for non-grant of bail. It was also said that if Krishnabai is granted bail, our lives are also at risk. After considering this objection, the court rejected Krishnabai’s bail application.
The woman told the court – she has been falsely implicated
Krishnabai submitted an affidavit in the court along with the bail application, stating that she has been falsely implicated. She is a resident of Ujjain, so there is no question of her absconding or tampering with the evidence.
When did the incident happen?
The entire incident took place on May 11, 2024, when Misrilal Rathore, a resident of Bilautipura, was returning home from his usual morning walk along with his friend Tej Singh. There is a snack shop in front of Misrilal’s house. Tej Singh was having his breakfast at this shop when he heard Misrilal’s screams. Then he saw that a young man was running away after beating Mishrilal.
Tej Singh and his son Niklesh immediately rushed Misrilal to the district hospital for treatment, but he died. In this case, the police arrested the accused after taking the CCTV footage, Mishrilal’s mobile number and the statements of all the people.
