J&K: Security forces kill 3 Pakistani terrorists in Doda encounter, arms and ammunition recovered.

On Wednesday, three militants were killed in a several-hour-long encounter between security forces and militants in a forest area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district. A large quantity of arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the slain militants. A terrorist was killed in an encounter in Doda in the morning. All three terrorists killed are Pakistani nationals.

Police officials informed that an intensive search and cordon operation was conducted by the police, army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) following the twin terror attacks in the Union Territory’s hill district on June 11 and 12. During this search operation, firing started in Bajad village of Gandoh area around 10 am on Wednesday.

An AK 47 rifle was also found

Jammu and Kashmir Police informed about the encounter that 3 terrorists have been killed in a joint operation in Gandoh, Bhadarwah sector of Doda district. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from them. It is said that 2 M4 and one AK 47 rifle have been recovered from the slain militants.

On June 11, six security personnel were injured in an attack by militants on a joint check post in Chattargalla, Doda, while on June 12, a policeman was injured in an encounter with militants at Kota Top in Gandoh area.

Terrorists were hiding in ‘Dhok’

After these twin terror attacks in the valley, the anti-terrorist operation was intensified by the security forces. Besides, a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh each was announced on those 4 terrorists who were claimed to be active in the district after the infiltration.

During the day, a police official informed that the police with the help of security forces conducted a search operation against the terrorists in the village of Sinu Panchayat, but heavy firing started from the terrorists hiding in a ‘dhok’ i.e. mud house. Meanwhile, a terrorist came out and started firing on the security forces. But he was killed in retaliatory action by the security forces.
