In Jharkhand’s Lohardaga district, there was an uproar after the bodies of a woman and her three children were found in a well. The deceased woman has been identified as Usha Munda, wife of Fuldev Munda, a resident of Hudu village in Cairo Police Station area. At the same time, the children were identified as Divya Munda (7), Shivam Munda (4) and Satyam Munda (1). As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and removed the four bodies from the well and sent them for post-mortem.
Usha Munda, wife of Fuldev Munda, a resident of Hudu village in Cairo Police Station area, left home on Tuesday with her three children asking to go to her maternal uncle’s house. When she did not reach her parents’ house, her family started a search. Despite searching for two days, nothing was found of the four. Meanwhile, some villagers of Makra village under Kudu police station saw four dead bodies floating in a well in the field on Thursday. The villagers immediately informed the police about this.
All the bodies were found with their hands and feet tied.
Kudu police station reached the spot, recovered the four bodies from the well and sent them for post-mortem. It is being said that the hands and feet of the four dead bodies found in the well were tied together. However, it is not yet clear whether the woman committed suicide by jumping into the well along with her four children or the four were tied together and thrown into the well as part of a well-planned conspiracy.
