Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary will be celebrated across the country including Krishna Janmabhoomi at 12 o’clock on August 26, but this celebration will be held on the next day i.e. August 27 at the famous Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan. Birthplace of Lord Krishna. On the evening of 27th August, after the daily Aarti Puja, the doors of the Banke Bihari Mandir will be closed at 9.30 pm. After this, Mahabhishekam of Thakurji will be performed at 11 pm. For this, Bank Bihari Mandir Management has released the schedule from Abhishek to Aarti Puja of Lord.
Let us tell you that Mahabhishek and Mangala Aarti of Thakurji are held in Banke Bihari temple only once a year on the occasion of Janmashtami. For this, devotees come not only from all over the country but from all over the world to the Banke Vihari temple. This time also a grand and divine program has been organized in Banke Bihari temple. All preparations for this have been completed. In this order keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees coming from outside, the temple management has announced the schedule of events and programs to be held on Janmashtami. It tells when the Mahabhishek will take place and when the Mangala Aarti will be performed.
Guesthouses in Vrindavan are already booked
Let us tell you that this time the 5250th birth anniversary of Shri Thakur Krishna Chandraji Maharaj is being celebrated in the country. For this there is joy and happiness in the entire country. This time a large number of foreign devotees of Thakur Ji are also going to reach Vrindavan. These devotees have made bookings in guesthouses, inns and hotels in Vrindavan. Keeping in mind the respect and devotion of these devotees, the Vrindavan temple management has released the schedule of events to be held in the temple.

Mahabhishek will be held on 27th at 11 pm
It has been informed that till the evening of August 27, darshan and pooja will be held at the Banke Bihari temple as per routine and the doors will be closed at 9:30 pm as usual. However, for Mahabhishek which happens only once a year, the doors will open at 11:00 PM. Then about two and a half hours later i.e. on 28th August from 1:45 am devotees will have darshan of Thakurji. In this sequence, the Mangala Aarti will take place after about 10 minutes and Thakur Ji will give darshan to the devotees till 5:30 am. Nandotsava will be celebrated with pomp at 8:00 am.
