Terrorists attempted to infiltrate into Poonch district of Jammu region early on Monday morning. As soon as the security forces came to know about this, they took charge and opened fire. Firing was also done by the terrorists. An army jawan was injured in this, who died during treatment.
The ‘White Knight Corps’ has said that the militants tried to infiltrate in Batal sector of Poonch, which the jawans foiled by firing. Meanwhile, Lance Naik Subhash Chandra was shot and was undergoing treatment.
