Constable committed suicide in Jalaun

A chief constable posted at a police station in Madhya Pradesh’s Jalaun committed suicide at his official residence. The constable cut his neck with a knife. This incident created a commotion in the police station. The constable committed suicide under suspicious circumstances. The whole matter belongs to Kathalia Police Station. The information of the entire incident has been given to the Superintendent of Police of Jalaun. The body has been sent for postmortem. There is an atmosphere of fear in the area after the incident.

As soon as the head constable had committed suicide, the police of Kathalia police station reached the spot. The police are investigating the matter, while the family members who reached the spot after the incident have expressed fear of murder. The incident took place in the government building built in Kathalia police station premises. Virendra Kumar, a resident of Padraspur in Kannauj district, was appointed as a constable in the police department in the year 1995. Presently he was posted as Chief Constable in Kailia Police Station, Jalon 12 months ago.

He committed suicide by cutting his own neck

Virendra committed suicide by slitting his neck with a knife under suspicious circumstances on Sunday morning. The incident came to light when the policemen stationed with him went to his room to call him. Here, he was shocked to see the blood-soaked body of Chief Constable Virendra. He immediately informed the police station in-charge Rajeev Kumar about the incident. When the other police personnel of the police station came to know about this, they reached the spot. After investigating the case, he contacted Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj informed Raja, who reached the spot along with a forensic team and Additional Superintendent of Police Asim Chaudhary.

The family feared murder

After spot inspection and investigation on all aspects, the body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The family members have also been informed about this. As soon as the information was received, the deceased’s son Abhishek Singh and brother-in-law Rajesh Singh also reached the spot. Seeing his father covered in blood, the son expressed fear of killing his father. In this case Jalaun Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj Raja said that Chief Constable Virendra Kumar was posted at Kailia Police Station. When the room was checked, a broken rope was also found hanging from the fan.

First there was a plan to hang myself

It is being feared that earlier the deceased Virendra may have tried to hang himself by tying a rope to the fan. But he was saved due to the breaking of the rope. Half the rope on the fan was found to be broken. The Superintendent of Police said that all aspects are being investigated and the help of a forensic team is being sought. Also, further action will be taken only after the post mortem report, currently the investigation is going on.
