What did Farida Jalal say about Shah Rukh and Salman?
Veteran actress Farida Jalal has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in films like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. She was also seen in ‘Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai’ and ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’ with Salman Khan. Farida mentioned Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in an interview given to ‘India Today’. In the interview, Farida was asked if she is still in touch with Shah Rukh Khan. In response to this he said that it is very difficult to talk to Shah Rukh or Salman as they have changed their phone numbers.
Talking about Shah Rukh, she said that when she had shoulder surgery, Shah Rukh called her and asked about her health. Farida said that Shahrukh advised her to be patient after the shoulder surgery. Shahrukh told him that shoulder surgery takes a long time to heal, so he should be patient. According to Farida, she was very distressed at that time as she could not even lift her hand.
Farida also said, “I felt so good when Shah Rukh called me, he called me and said Farida ji, don’t worry. It takes time to heal. After a year you will be able to raise your hand too, but it will take time so don’t lose your patience.”
Want to talk to Shahrukh-Salman
Farida has expressed her desire to talk to Salman and Shahrukh. She said that whenever any of Shahrukh’s films did well, she used to call and congratulate him, but now there is no answer on Shahrukh’s phone number. He said this is because Shah Rukh’s number has changed now.
Farida said that if she did not have a secretary, it would be almost impossible to reach her, as now Farida does not have her phone number. He further said that Shah Rukh should think how fans like him (Faridah) can approach him. Along with this, she also said that she used to talk to Salman Khan often. According to Farida, perhaps Salman Khan has also changed his phone number, due to which she is no longer able to talk to him.
