Bhupesh Baghel on Kupwara terror attack: A jawan was martyred while three jawans, including a major, were injured in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara on Saturday. Army also killed a terrorist in this encounter. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and Congress leader Bhupesh has targeted the Center regarding the growing problem of terrorism.
Bhupesh Baghel said, ‘Another soldier has sacrificed himself for the country. I pay homage to him. A terrorist has also been killed. This is a matter of happiness for us. But the central government has claimed that the problem of terrorism will end after the removal of Article 370 and demonetisation, he said. That claim was proven false.
What did Baghel say on reservation in Agneepath Yojana?
A senior Congress leader said that the central government’s claim has been proved completely false. They were saying that after the removal of Article 370, incidents of terrorism will end. Terrorist and Naxalist problem will end after demonetisation. His claim proved false.
Bhupesh Baghel said this while talking to reporters in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, Baghel has also reacted to the announcement of reservation under Agneepath scheme in BJP-ruled states. He said that instead of giving reservation under Agneepath Yojana in the state, why not give them employment for 16-17 years?
A Pakistani terrorist was killed in the encounter
A Pakistani militant was killed in an encounter with militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara on Saturday, in which five army personnel, including a major, were injured. Militants opened fire near Kumkadi Chowki in Machhil sector of Kupwara around 9 am. This is the fourth encounter in Kupwara in the last one month. At the same time, army operations are still going on near the Line of Control in Kupwara. The jawan who was martyred in the encounter is Dilawar Singh.

Reservations for firefighters have been announced in these states
On the occasion of Kargil Day on Friday, the central government has announced reservation for fire warriors in 6 BJP-ruled states. Which includes Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. All these state governments will provide 10 percent reservation in government services. Let us tell you that in June 2022, the central government launched Agneepath Yojana, under which youth between the ages of 17.5 to 21 years are deployed in the army for a period of four years. At the same time, after this period, 25 percent of them are permanently reinstated in the army while the rest retire.
