UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and UP BJP Chief Bhupendra Chaudhary
After the results of the Lok Sabha elections, there is an uproar in the UP BJP. There is a huge tension between the state government and the organization. In such an atmosphere, the state working committee meeting of the party was held on Sunday. It was expected that the message of all is well would go out after this meeting. But this could not happen. After the meeting, the party workers are further confused.
It seems that CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya have drawn swords again. Well, this tension is not new. But now both the leaders are batting against each other through open gestures. In the meeting of the State Working Committee, CM Yogi said that due to overconfidence, the Lok Sabha elections did not get good results. Keshav Maurya is not going to the cabinet meeting after the Lok Sabha election results. Even after staying in Lucknow, he never went to a meeting. Keshav Maurya was also absent in the meeting called by CM Yogi Adityanath regarding the tree plantation programme.
An important responsibility can be found in the organization
Amid upheaval in UP BJP, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has reached Delhi. This evening he is meeting the party’s national president JP Nadda. After him, the state president of the party, Bhupendra Chaudhary, is also scheduled to meet the national president. It is understood that Keshav Prasad Maurya has drawn such a long line that it is very difficult to be in the cabinet with Yogi now. Sources say that he may be given responsibility in the organisation. In such a situation, there is a discussion to make him the state president of UP BJP. He has been the president of UP BJP in the year 2017.
Dalit voters remain in Lok Sabha elections
A large section of backward and Dalit voters left the BJP in this Lok Sabha election. This vote bank this time shifted towards Bharat Gatbandhan. In such a situation, there are indications that more responsibility is being given to the leaders of the backward and downtrodden communities in the party. UP BJP president Bhupendra Chaudhary belongs to the Jat community. BJP has entered into an alliance with RLD to win Jat voters.
