Is Bijamandal a temple or a mosque? Now AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi has entered into this controversy. Owaisi’s effigy was also cremated in Vidisha on Wednesday. Actually this whole controversy started with the order of Vidisha Collector. Now the controversy is over the immediate transfer of the collector. Hindu organizations in Vidisha of Madhya Pradesh sought permission to worship in Bijamandal. The Collector replied that it was a mosque as per the ASI Gazette and refused permission. Puja was performed on 9th August on Nag Panchami.
At the same time, on the night of 10 August itself, Vidisha Collector Budhesh Kumar Vaidya was transferred and made Deputy Secretary in the Home Department. Now Asaduddin Owaisi’s tweet has come to light in this matter.

After this tweet of Asaduddin Owaisi, there was a huge uproar in Madhya Pradesh. This was protested by Hindu organizations in Vidisha. An effigy of Asaduddin Owaisi was also burnt. Leaders of Hindu organizations said that if Asaduddin Owaisi has any doubts, come to Vidisha and investigate.
In fact, on Saturday night the Dr Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh transferred 47 IAS and IPS. Vidisha Collector’s name was also in this list. Now there is a lot of politics going on on this issue. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said in a single line that he felt as if he had seen an idol of God.
Not only this, the leaders of both the Congress and BJP parties have given their own statements in this matter. BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that Bijamandal is a temple and will remain a temple. Better not to do such stupid things.
Politics started over Bijamandal
Speaking on the matter, Congress spokesperson Abbas Hafeez said that the manner in which the collector was removed in haste clearly shows that he has been punished to prevent a communal dispute. It has become clear that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh is in favor of those who spread communalism, not those who work to stop communalism. Why Vidisha Collector was removed?
On the statement of Bijamandal and Owaisi, Mahamandaleshwar Naval Giri Maharaj of Juna Akhara said that be it Bijamandal or Taj Mahal, all are temples. Open challenge to Owaisi that only Nagas are enough for you, only mosques have been imposed in India.
At present, there is no sign of the Bija Mandal dispute stopping in Madhya Pradesh. Now the court will decide whether there is a temple or a mosque! However, politics continues in the country from MP onwards.
