Abbas, a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district, has become a mystery like a movie story. It has been more than a year since Abbas went missing. It is not yet known whether he is alive or dead. The Allahabad High Court has now handed over the investigation of the case to the CBI. Also, the agency has been asked to give its report by August 30. However, the police claim that Abbas has been killed.

Indeed, Ali Abbas is accused of kidnapping a 17-year-old girl on April 27, 2023 along with his friend Saifi. Abbas’s father petitioned the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh on May 15, 2023, alleging that Abbas and the girl were killed by Dilip Yadav, Akash Yadav and others.

Abbas’ father made another application to the SP. In that petition it was claimed that her son and girl had been kidnapped. The accused have kept him at an unknown place. The police found the girl on August 11 last year. After which his statement was recorded before the Magistrate under Section 164 of CrPC. The prosecution also alleged that Abbas was murdered and added relevant clauses against the accused.

The police also claimed that Abbas had been killed. For this he has seized the blood stained clothes of Abbas from one accused Guddu. Guddu’s lawyer told the High Court that Abbas is alive. He lives in Dubai with his uncle. The police registered a case of murder without even taking possession of the body.

The court said that this is a serious matter

Officials said the court has termed it a serious matter. The court also said that this is a case in which the main accused, Ali Abbas, a minor boy, has been missing for a long time. Charges were filed under Section 302 of the IPC, without collecting credible evidence, without recovering the body of the so-called deceased.

The CBI has re-registered the Kaushambi police case related to the alleged abduction of a minor. In which Abbas was the main accused. The CBI is investigating the case. The agency’s final report is to be submitted before the special court by August 30.
