Apart from fairies, humans are also rarely seen. Since it is a firing range, common people are also prohibited from coming near it, so that no untoward incident takes place.
Both the army officers came to visit the firing range
Only army officers and soldiers take time out from the cantonment to visit or train here. The matter is dated last Tuesday, September 10. At night, two army trainee officers booked a cab with their lady friends and came to visit the firing range area. After parking the car in the firing range, the four people started talking to each other. After some time something happened to him which he never imagined. Suddenly eight to 10 miscreants entered the firing range area. He had a pistol, a knife and a stick in his hands.
The miscreants demanded 10 lakh rupees
As soon as they arrived, these people surrounded the army officer and his female friends. Seeing this, the army officers protested and asked how you people came to the no entry area? However, instead of answering the questions of the army officers, the miscreants started assaulting them. As the miscreants were in large numbers, they overpowered the military officers. The miscreants looted cash, purses and other valuables from the officials and their female friends. Then an officer and a girl were taken hostage. Another officer and told the girl to go and bring 10 lakh rupees. They will not be released until they bring Rs 10 lakh.
Informed the commanding officer about the incident
The frightened officer rushed to his unit and reported the incident to the commanding officer. There was an uproar in the camp after receiving information that a cantonment officer and his girlfriend were incarcerated. Military officials then informed the police. As soon as the information was received, a team of police and army reached the spot. When seen here, both the officer and his lady friend were present, but no miscreant was visible. According to the information, after committing the crime, the miscreants fled towards the forest. The police quickly caught the military officer and his lady friend and reached the police station.
Gang rape of military officer’s female friend
Even more shocking was what the army officer, who was held hostage by the miscreants, told the police. The army officer alleged that when his fellow officer was late in returning, miscreants took his lady friend from the place where he was held hostage and gang-raped her. SP (Rural) Hitika Vasal said the two army officers and their female friends were brought to Mahu Civil Hospital at 6.30 am on Wednesday, where a medical examination confirmed that one of the women had been gang-raped.
