A shocking case has come to light from Lasudiya Police Station area of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A father strangled his own son to death. Troubled by his son’s drug addiction, the father took such a step. In fact, the young man was taking drugs for the last 10 years. The parents also sent their son to a de-addiction center for addiction treatment, but his addiction did not go away. He fought with his parents every day over drug money. Due to which the father got angry and killed his son.
An elderly father strangled his own son to death in Lasudiya police station area of Indore. Based on the information received from the neighbours, the police started an investigation. The police got the information that Rakesh died accidentally. On which the police got suspicious. The post-mortem report revealed that Rakesh was strangled to death. The police have taken Rakesh’s father Uttam Verma into custody in this whole matter. And based on that, the police have taken the father into custody and started an investigation into the whole matter.
Father killed son due to drunkenness
Lasudiya police station in-charge Taresh Soni said that Uttam Verma strangled his son Rakesh to death. It is also said that Rakesh was taking drugs for the last 10 years. Due to drug addiction, his parents took him to several places of treatment but his addiction did not go away. He beat his elderly father and mother every day and demanded money to buy drugs every day. His elder brother Uttam Verma was very upset and father-son quarreled over this issue.
The father confessed to the murder during interrogation
Police received information about Rakesh’s sudden death from neighbors. A police team reached the spot and conducted Rakesh’s post-mortem. After this, while investigating the whole matter, Rakesh’s father was taken into custody. The police are busy questioning the father. During interrogation, the father said that due to his son’s addiction to drugs, there were fights every day and the whole incident took place after a fight on the day of the incident.
