Indore: BJP leader Monu Kalyan shot dead, now bulldozered on accused’s house

Police have arrested both the accused in the murder of BJP leader Monu Kalyan in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The miscreants have been identified as Arjun Fatrod and Piyush Fatrod. These miscreants shot dead a BJP leader at Chiman Bagh intersection in MG Road Police Station area. Now the municipality has started bulldozing the houses of both the accused. Allegedly, both their houses were constructed illegally. The police are investigating the criminal history of these accused.

According to the police, after committing the crime, these two accused fled from the spot. However, using surveillance, the police arrested him from Bhopal. Both these accused are residents of Bhopal. Police investigation revealed that the duo had constructed their house illegally. In such a situation, the police and the municipal corporation carried out a joint operation to demolish their houses. According to Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Lata Aggarwal, the upper floor of the accused’s house was completely illegal. It has been dropped.

Who was Monu Kalyan?

Monu Kalyan was the leader of BJP. It is being said that Monu was close to Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and was active in politics for a long time. He was also holding the responsibility of the vice-president in the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Monu Kalyan, who intervened in politics from the Indore Assembly, was counted among the special people of former MLA Akash Vijayvargiya’s son Kailash Vijayvargiya.
