IND vs PAK Match Highlights: Sunday’s match between India and Pakistan was exciting in many ways. Rain and low scores during the match added to the fun. India won this match by six wickets. In this match which was completely in Pakistan’s favour, the Indian bowlers performed brilliantly in the last six overs. In this way, the match went in India’s favour.

In the match held at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, India batted first and challenged Pakistan to score just 120 runs. Pakistan’s team completely dominated the match which lasted for 14 overs. But then Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Akshar Patel performed brilliantly and Pakistan lost. Pakistan could score only 113 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. This is India’s 7th win in 8 matches against Pakistan in the history of T20 World Cup.

In the rain-interrupted match, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss. He decided to bowl first. In the match, the Indian team was reduced to 119 runs. Chasing the target, Pakistan has scored 80 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 14 overs. With this Pakistan was on the verge of victory. They had 7 wickets left. They needed only 40 runs in 36 balls to win.

  1. Jasprit Bumrah has come to bowl the 15th over. Then the situation changed. After scoring 31 runs on the first ball of this over, Bumrah clean bowled the set batsman Mohammad Rizwan. After this wicket, the Pakistani team could not recover.
  2. Star spinner Akshar Patel took the 16th over. He gave only 2 runs in this over. After this the pressure on Pakistan increased.
  3. The 17th over was bowled by Hardik Pandya and he completely defeated Pakistan by dismissing Shadab Khan on the third ball. In the 17th over, Pandya took 1 wicket and gave only 5 runs.

  5. Jasprit Bumrah once again bowled the 19th over and gave away only 3 runs in this over. Iftikhar Ahmed was also dismissed. Now Pakistan needed 18 runs in the last over.
  6. Captain Rohit gave this last over to fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. Shaheen Afridi and Imad Wasim were present at the crease at that time. Arshdeep ended Pakistan’s last hope by catching Imad out on the very first ball. After this, Afridi and Naseem Shah were able to score only 11 runs in the over and Pakistan lost by 6 runs.
