Talking about the Champions Trophy, Pakistan lost in the final in 2017. They got a chance to reach the final of the World Test Championship twice. But both times they faced disappointment on the field. They lost to New Zealand in 2021 and to Australia in 2023.

Team India has participated in ten ICC tournaments since 2013. It has made it to the knockout stage 9 times and once the challenge ended in the league round itself. India has played 13 matches in 9 knockout rounds. Out of these, it has lost 9 matches and won 4 matches. Meanwhile, India has lost 4 semi-finals and 5 finals. In the last 11 years, it has missed the title 5 times.
