Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Italy to attend the G-7 summit. This summit was held from 13 to 15 June. The soup of this meeting has been called today. This organization of developed countries has repeatedly felt the need for India. Every time this organization sends an invitation to India for the meeting. Many people wonder why India is so important for this organization? There is a special reason behind this.

Why has India been invited?

The Indian economy is worth 2.66 trillion dollars (22224366,50,00,000 crore rupees). India’s GDP is more than the three members of the G-7 organization, France, Italy and Canada. According to the International Monetary Fund, the Indian economy is growing rapidly. It is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. The economy of developed countries is now slowing down. Therefore, India is leapfrogging from a developing economy to a developed economy. The Indian economy is more promising than the western countries.

Indian Bazaar

The Indian market is catching up with the western countries. To reduce the importance of China, India needs big companies from western countries. Some of these companies have already turned to India. But the extent to which foreign companies are expected to invest in the country is not yet being achieved. Foreign companies are more focused on the Indian market than on investment. The Indian government has seen this and is ready to provide facilities to these companies. India has left China behind in terms of population. There is a large number of youth in the country. The next 30-40 years will be of youth. There is a need to capitalize on this big phase.

Indo-Pacific Strategy

The country has a large army of skilled and unskilled workers. Interestingly, this age group is not only a large consumer group but can also be used on a large scale for job creation and production. At the same time, the Indo-Pacific strategy is also important for the G-7 organization. Britain, France, Germany and now Italy are focusing on this region. The United Nations Security Council is continuously weakening. The world does not see anything concrete in the hands of US-China, US-Russia polarization. Therefore, the importance of the G-7 organization has increased.
