PM Modi calls for a ‘developed India’ from the ramparts of the Red Fort
When India celebrates its centenary of independence in 2047, it will be one of the most powerful countries in the world. That will be the “developed India.” When Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated this resolve from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Thursday, on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, he also uttered 14 mantras to achieve this goal. India’s young population, its capabilities and the country’s growing involvement in semiconductors and gaming – these are the parameters that will make India the hub and superpower of the world in the next 22 years.
In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained how India is opening new doors to growth. Innovation is flourishing in the country. Not only this, India is leading the world in many sectors and has the potential to lead many more sectors in the future. Appealing to the country, he said that if 40 million people of the country could come together to achieve independence in 1947, can’t 140 million people today make India a ‘developed India’?
Freedom from mother-father culture, youth development
In his speech on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the achievements of his government in the past few years. At the same time, he also spoke about the challenges that will be faced in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047. Along with this, he also said 14 mantras to achieve these goals.

PM Modi said that his government has worked to facilitate the normal life of the people of the country in the last few years. Facilities like electricity, water and clean fuel have reached the people. Legal procedures have been simplified. In the future too, the government will continue to work to improve infrastructure and services. Earlier, people were dependent on the government for facilities, the “mother-father culture” prevailed. Now the government itself is providing facilities to the people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned the recent reopening of Nalanda University. He asked to draw inspiration from this to make the country a global educational hub. He was asked to work towards improving research and learning in India. He also announced the addition of 75,000 new healthcare seats in the country.
PM Modi spoke about achieving the goal of India becoming a world leader in semiconductor production. He said this will increase our self-reliance in terms of technology and reduce imports.
Referring to Budget 2024, PM Modi said that the government has taken a new initiative to equip the youth of the country with skills. This will help in making India the skill capital of the world. This skill can also be used to make the country a global manufacturing hub. The effect of the government’s PLI scheme is now visible. India has become the global hub for mobile manufacturing. Jobs will increase due to increased industrial production in the country and the government has set a target of Make in India to make India the global manufacturing hub of the world.
We will have to work from green energy to investment in green fields.
In his speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Indian products will get recognition in the world only when Indian standards and global standards are the same. India will have to work in this direction. In addition to this, he spoke about India’s design capabilities for the whole world, which can meet the needs from the domestic market to the international market. With this, India has the power to become a global leader in the gaming world. We have a long historical heritage that can give something new to the world and we can convey it to the world through gaming.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also talked about making the country self-reliant in terms of green energy. In this regard, he spoke of achieving the target of 500 GW of solar energy and working on the Green Hydrogen Mission. This shows India’s efforts to tackle climate change. Not only this, but it will also lead to the development of green growth and green jobs (employment related to environmental protection) in the country. This will help in tackling the problem of unemployment.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi spoke of healthy competition among states for new investments (green fields). For this, attention will have to be paid to clear policy formulation. Investors will have to be assured of a safe environment. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi also spoke of making India a “healthy India”. He said that this has already been initiated with the National Nutrition Mission.
The country needs new leadership
PM Modi also spoke of giving a new leadership to the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He said that around 1 lakh such people should come forward in politics, who have never had any political connection in any generation. These people should participate in politics from the block level to the Assembly and Lok Sabha level. This will be an initiative to give a new leadership to the politics of the country. These youth will help the politics of the country to fight against nepotism and caste system. For this, it is not necessary for these youth to join any party. They can join any party according to their mindset.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that continuous efforts are being made to achieve the goal of a developed India. For this, all sectors of the country need to be grown. Every sector will have to embrace innovation. New opportunities will have to be created in every sector and we will have to go beyond old thinking. Today, Indian society is full of faith. The country is moving forward with passion. On this basis, we have managed to double the per capita income. The country’s foreign exchange reserves have increased. Not only this, India has the potential to become the second largest economy in the world by 2075.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi laid utmost emphasis on the fact that the work of making India a developed India by 2047 can be done with the passion of a population of 140 crore people. This will be like giving a new freedom to the country. This freedom will be from poverty and slavery mentality. At the same time, to increase mutual harmony in the country, we will have to leave behind discriminatory civil laws. We will have to move in the direction of Union Civil Law while respecting the independence and wishes of those who framed the Constitution.
Referring to independence, PM Modi also said that when 40 crore countrymen uprooted the world superpower and broke the chains of slavery. Today we are 140 crore. If 40 crore can break the chains of slavery and fulfil the dream of independence, then with the determination, one direction and step by step of 140 crore countrymen, we will be able to overcome all challenges and create a prosperous India. We can achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047.
