The Indian team has a chance to end the ICC Cup drought that has been going on for the last 11 years. Because the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is two wins away from the title. Team India will face England in the semi-finals. The match will be played on June 27 at 8 pm IST. With this match, Team India has a chance to settle old scores with England. England defeated India in the 2022 T20 World Cup. India had completed the target of 169 runs without losing any wicket. Anyway, Team India’s performance in the current tournament has been tremendous. Therefore, in this match, Team India can atone for its previous defeat. Both the teams have clashed with each other 23 times in T20 cricket. Out of these, 12 matches have been won by India and 11 matches by England. They have clashed with each other twice in the T20 World Cup and have won twice each.

Once again, there are expectations from Rohit Sharma in the semi-finals. Rohit Sharma scored 92 runs against Australia. But on the other hand, Virat Kohli’s form has raised concerns. It seems as if he is not in the final eleven. His bat is still not able to score enough runs. He has scored a total of 66 runs in the six matches played so far. Hence, Yashasvi Jaiswal can be considered in his place. But Rohit Sharma is going to take some decision. Although Virat’s bat is not working but he has good experience. So Yashasvi Jaiswal will have to sit on the bench once again.

There is no such option for Suryakumar Yadav. But Yashasvi or Sanju Samson can be considered in place of Shivam Dubey. But Shivam is an option for bowling. In such a situation, it is difficult to remove Shivam from the playing eleven. While the responsibility of spinners will be on the shoulders of Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. The pivot of fast bowling will be Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.

India: Rohit Sharma (captain), Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.
