IND vs BAN: Hardik’s explosive half-century, Pant, Virat and Dubey’s blast, target of 197 runs against Bangladesh

In the seventh match of Super 8 in ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Team India challenged Bangladesh to score 197 runs to win. Team India scored 196 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. All the batsmen of Team India batted explosively against Bangladesh. Except Suryakumar Yadav, everyone else reached double figures. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli gave a great start to Team India. Taking advantage of this start, every batsman batted in top gear. So Team India could reach 190 overs.

For Team India, vice-captain Hardik Pandya completed his half-century by hitting a four on the last ball of the innings. Hardik scored an unbeaten 50 runs in 24 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Rohit Sharma scored 23, Virat Kohli 37, Rishabh Pant 36, Suryakumar Yadav 6 and Shivam Dubey scored 34 runs. Axar Patel scored an unbeaten 3 runs in 5 balls. For Bangladesh, Rishad Hussain and Tanjim Hasan Sakib took 2-2 wickets. While Shakib Al Hasan took 1 wicket.
