BJP focused on the Muslim community

BJP has once again started a campaign to strengthen its political base in Uttar Pradesh politics. Backward Muslims claim may not have worked for BJP in 2024 Lok Sabha elections, but the party wants to maintain its ties with Muslims. The BJP has launched a campaign to unite Muslims with the party, for which the party’s UP Minority Front aims to create five lakh Muslim members. For this, BJP has also sent six chariots to Muslim areas, through which Muslims will be made members of the party.

The Rath video van for UP Minority Front’s membership drive was flagged off by Uttar Pradesh General Secretary Sanghatan Dharampal Singh from the party office on Sunday. BJP Minority Front State President Kunwar Basit Ali told TV-9 Digital that through this Rath we will work to create five lakh members of the minority community by playing videos. This membership rath will go to every district in all parts of the state, where the rath will not only make people aware of the BJP’s development work but will also work to connect them with the BJP.

BJP will create 5 lakh Muslim members

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP made 1.5 lakh Muslim members last time, but this time the Minority Front is aiming to increase it to five lakh. For this, six video chariots are being released by the Minority Front, which will go to Muslim-dominated towns and villages and organize camps to recruit Muslims. Basit Ali says that Congress and SP have only got votes by scaring Muslims, but have done nothing for their development. Congress and SP’s Muslim love is a fraud.

Basit Ali said that the Modi government has protected the honor of poor Muslims and Muslim sisters who were victims of triple talaq. A campaign has been launched to make the Muslim community aware of the policies of the Yogi and Modi governments and align them with the ideology of the BJP. The state president of the BJP Minority Front said that special attention is being paid to the 10 assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh where by-elections are to be held in the coming days. Through this Rath we will work to connect our people as much as possible and work in the by-election areas. This time we will make history by making five lakh Muslims members of BJP.

Focus on by-election seats

BJP is particularly focusing on 10 by-election seats in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, she is trying to bring a large number of Muslims to her party in view of the 2027 assembly elections. Out of the 10 UP constituencies to be held, Mirapur, Kundarki, Sisamau and Phulpur Lok Sabha constituencies are considered to be Muslim dominated. Apart from this, Muslim voters play an important role in Katehari and Milkipur assembly seats. Muslim voters account for about 20 percent in UP, wielding political influence in about 140 seats.

Seeing the political power of Muslim votes, BJP has launched a special campaign to make Muslim members so that there is no political loss like in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP has planned to increase its membership from one and a half lakh to five lakh.

Muslim voting pattern spoils the game

Following the results of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has launched a membership campaign to gain political entry and convince the people. For this, a target has been set to make five lakh Muslims members. If we look at the voting pattern of Muslims in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, almost 90 percent of Muslims in UP voted for the Congress-SP alliance. Because of this, BJP’s seats in UP have reduced from 62 to 33. In such a situation, the backward Muslim move of the BJP, for which the party had campaigned extensively in the last one and a half years, did not work.

The BJP launched many programs aimed at backward Muslims and gave prominence to Muslim community leaders in both government and party cadres in the state. Even in areas like Mau, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and Varanasi where Pasmanda Muslims live with about 80 percent of Uttar Pradesh’s Muslim population, the BJP has not received support. BJP got only four percent of Muslim votes. That is why this time BJP has started a campaign to unite all Muslims with the party instead of Pasmanda.

BJP did not get Muslim votes

BJP UP Minority Front President Kunwar Basit Ali says it is true that BJP has done a lot for the backward Muslim community. The BJP not only gave him a position in the organization but also nominated him as an MLC. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 20 lakh houses and 2.61 crore ration cards have been given to disadvantaged Muslims. Special initiatives have also been taken for the weaving community. Even though the BJP has not got the Muslim votes, that does not mean that it should not work to connect them.

He said that SP and Congress got votes by scaring Muslims from BJP and now we will work by reaching their homes to unite them again. This is the policy and tradition of BJP. BJP does not do vote politics but works for the country and the country. The basic mantra of PM Modi is support of all, development of all and trust of all. The BJP Minority Front is working under this mantra and will work to unite Muslims with the party.
