In Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, a tense situation arose between people of two communities when several people from one side attacked the entire area. In such a situation, many Hindu families found their houses marked ‘house for sale’. The Hindu party alleged that many people from the Muslim party came and attacked them. The police have made a heavy police presence in this area. The entire matter is currently being investigated.
According to information, this entire case is from Sarai Rafi area of Chandpur in Bijnor district. Chandrapal Saini lives here with his family. Several other Hindu families also live nearby. She has alleged that the young man, Mohammad Muzammil, sent her daughter obscene material on chat and used profanity. Fed up with his chatting, his daughter complained about the whole matter to the family. After this, the girl’s cousin sent an audio message to the accused youth.
In this audio message, objectionable things were said against the boy. Based on that message, the Muslim party registered a case against the girl’s brother. After that message, an agitated mob reached the girl’s area and accused her brothers and other Hindus of the area of assault. The incident took place on 19th August.
The mob attacked
The girl’s father alleged that people from the other party beat up her family members Neeraj, Priyanshu, Shekhar and Aditya. The agitated mob also attacked the women of his family. After the allegation of chatting and assaulting the girl, the police have also registered a complaint from another party. After the controversial message, the police have taken legal action against the girl’s brother. Now an investigation has been started after this complaint.
What did the police say?
Giving information, Bijnor SP Gramin Ram Raj said that on August 19, a boy from a community in Sarai Rafi area of Chandpur had an indecent and objectionable chat with a girl. Saddened by this, the girl’s brother sent a message to the accused boy. The message also used offensive language. A case was registered on this message and action was taken. Now the opposite side has also made serious allegations and a complaint has been filed. Investigation is going on in this direction as well. Police said the Hindu families wrote ‘house for sale’ in protest, which was removed after the atmosphere calmed down. A heavy police presence has been deployed to maintain peace and law and order in the area.
