When will Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ hit OTT?
There is an update on the OTT release of Nag Ashwin’s science fiction and mythology based ‘Kalki’. According to reports, the film will be streamed on OTT platforms Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. The film will be released in several languages apart from Hindi. It will be streamed on Amazon Prime in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages with English subtitles. The Hindi version of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will be released on Netflix with English subtitles.
Earlier there were speculations that the film could hit the OTT platform by July. But, due to the box office earnings of the film, it was shelved. If reports are to be believed, the film is now slated to release in the second week of September. However, its final date has not been announced yet.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is being called India’s most expensive film ever. This picture has been made at a cost of around 600 crore rupees. At the same time, the film did a business of around Rs 900 crore in just 11 days. The film collected Rs 191 crore worldwide on its opening day.
