Help for women by dialing 112
Facilitation of safe travel will play an important role in fully implementing the concept of ‘Nidar Nari’. Till now emergency facilities were available through Dial 112 in Bihar, but now Dial 112 will also help women reach their safe destination. Before launching this initiative, the Technical Agency of Police is expanding Dial 112. At the same time, facilities provided to women will be completely free.
Women will be able to reach home by emergency response vehicle
If a woman ever feels unsafe while travelling, she can call dial 112 and seek help. The woman will be digitally monitored during the journey. Until they reach a safe place, the police will call periodically and take account of the safety of the woman. If a woman feels unsafe while travelling, Dial 112’s ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) will help her. Along with this, feedback will also be taken after the woman reaches a safe place.
