AAP leader Atishi was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday, September 21. Along with this, she has become the third woman Chief Minister of the state, 5 ministers have also taken oath with her. Atishi held his first conference after becoming CM, in which he praised Aam Aadmi Party convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Along with this, he also told about the party’s plans for the next four months.
Atishi said she is grateful to Arvind Kejriwal, the most popular leader in Delhi’s history and her elder brother and political guru, who reposed faith in her and entrusted her with such a huge responsibility. The CM said that Kejriwal ji has entrusted him with the responsibility of taking care of the people of Delhi. He said that I took oath as Chief Minister today, but this is an emotional moment for us.
‘Kejriwal has changed the picture of Delhi’
The new CM of Delhi said that Arvind Kejriwal has changed the face of Delhi and changed the life of the common people of Delhi in the last 10 years as Chief Minister. He understood the pain of all the poor people living in the capital. The future of children in government schools has changed. Women are given opportunities to progress in education and employment. Because of Kejriwal, people of Delhi today do not have to mortgage their jewelery to get their family members treated, the government hospitals here provide excellent treatment.
‘Central government hatched a conspiracy against Kejriwal’
Hitting out at the BJP, the Delhi CM said that the central government had hatched a conspiracy against Kejriwal, filed false cases against him and kept him in jail for more than 6 months. Every possible effort was made to break him, but BJP’s intentions did not succeed, Kejriwal did not break, he was granted bail by the Supreme Court. That too under such a law (PMLA) in which bail is almost impossible. Atishi said Kejriwal was arrested with malicious intent.
