Arrest of murder accused
A case of murder of Akash Kumar alias Abhishek Kumar has come to light near Corporation Pump House located on Shukla Road in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The reason for the murder was only 50 rupees. A youth was beaten up in a dispute over Rs 50. The case was being investigated by a special team formed under the leadership of City SP Awadhesh Dixit and City SHO Sharat Kumar. After which the murder was revealed.
The police have arrested all the five criminals involved in the murder. They have been identified as Mohammad Arshad alias Date, resident of Sipahpur of Ahiyapur police station, Mohammad Arshad, Mohammad Farman, Mohammad Aman of Zeromil Sheikhpur and Mohammad Faiz of Tin Kothia ward number four of Mithanpura police station. All together beat up Akash Kumar of Tin Kothia Mohalla.
Five mobile phones and a car were recovered
The police have recovered five mobile phones, a silver Swift Dzire car and the t-shirt worn by the criminals at the time of the murder from the accused. According to the police, the accused used to buy and sell smack and other intoxicants and were also addicted to it. It is being said that these people have gone to jail before.

The body was found lying in the drain
City SP Awadhesh Dixit has said that considering the seriousness of the incident, a special team was formed under the leadership of ASP Town Bhanu Pratap Singh. The team started collecting evidence against the accused involved in the murder. Meanwhile, CCTV footage of the incident site and surrounding areas was examined. In which it was revealed that on the night of 3rd August, Arshad alias Date and Mohan. Farman killed Akash. His body fell from the drain of the corporation’s pump house on Shukla Road.
They asked for 50 rupees to smoke ganja
Arshad, Farhan and Azhar Hafiz came to Tin Kothia Khanqah in a car to watch the jalsa. Meanwhile, Akash asked Farhan for 50 rupees to smoke ganja. On refusing to pay, Akash took out a knife and threatened to kill him. On this Arshad and Farhan hatched a plot to kill Akash. These people along with their friends put Akash in a car and after taking him to many places, brought him to Shukla road and first beat him badly. Then they killed him with bricks and stones and threw the body in the drain.
The accused revealed the secret
Police said the car was spotted on CCTV of several areas, including Sarayaganj. After strict interrogation of the arrested accused by the police, all of them revealed the mystery of the murder. According to the city SP, many of the arrested criminals have also gone to jail under the NDPS Act. Currently, police investigation is going on. It is expected that there may be many more revelations in the future.
