The use of drones is increasing a lot these days, but some rules need to be followed. Drone rules apply to everyone except the Navy, Army, and Air Force. A license is mandatory to fly a drone, and if someone flies a drone without a license, legal action can be taken against him. If a person is caught using a drone illegally, he can also be jailed. Technology is developing rapidly, and drones that were once expensive have now become affordable, so even common people can buy them. Now drones are available for between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000.
What are the rules?
However, there are some rules and regulations that have been created for flying drones, which are mandatory for everyone. If you want to fly a drone, you must be aware of the Drone Rules 2021 issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). These rules apply to everyone except the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
According to this rule, after purchasing any drone, it is necessary to get its digital registration done. Moreover, you also have to say where you are going to fly the drone. No matter how small the size of a drone is, it is not allowed to fly it without permission. Flying a drone without permission can lead to action under the provisions of the Aircraft Act, 1934. A fine of up to Rs 1 lakh is also provided for.
