Suicide SMS alert
Stress and anxiety have become common in this busy life these days. Sometimes the stress gets so high that people start thinking about suicide. To address these concerns, an assessment application is being developed by the Innovation Center of Bundelkhand University in Uttar Pradesh. This app is designed in such a way that if a person has thoughts of suicide, an alert message will be sent to him immediately. This alert message will also be sent to family members connected to the person. 5 crore rupees have been given by science and technology department to work well on this app.
The problem of depression is usually caused by failure in studies, exams and financial life. There has been a significant increase in suicide among students studying in Kota. Many steps are being taken by the government to control the increasing cases of suicide. Apart from this, an attempt has also been made to know the reason of suicide of students. In case of excessive study pressure on students, they were asked to change their daily routine and not take stress.
The number of suicides does not stop
The news of rising suicides in the country is a matter of concern. The number of suicides is not decreasing. In such a situation, when various types of changes are coming with the help of technology in every field, then why it should not be used to control suicide as well. Taking this idea forward, DIST, with the help of various organizations, started researching developing apps to prevent suicide. 5 crores has also been given to Bundelkhand University of Uttar Pradesh to complete this project.
