He further said, “PoK, though an integral part of India, has been under Pakistan’s control for a long time. India also aims to get back the land captured by China during the 1962 war. If the NDA had won more than 400 seats (Lok Sabha elections) in the recently concluded elections, we would have got a two-thirds majority, which would have made it possible to achieve both these goals.

Top leaders like Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh kept mentioning this. In several election rallies, Amit Shah called PoK an integral part of India and said that we will maintain it.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a similar claim during the election campaign in Palghar, Maharashtra. At that time, CM Yogi said that if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of the country for the third time, PoK will become a part of India in 6 months.
