Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu once again spoke on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha on Monday. Defending the remarks against him, he said that if the Congress party has to protest, it should protest against Rahul Gandhi. At the same time, Congress workers tried to protest against Bittu in the CBI Gate area but the police took them away in a bus.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Bittu should apologize to the entire country for his statement. At the same time, when Bittu, who was attending a sports event, was asked about his statement against the Congress leader at the airport, he said, ‘It is not about the Congress or the BJP. It is about Punjab and Sikhs.

‘Either Rahul Gandhi is Pappu. Or…,’

The Union Minister of State said, ‘How often does Rahul Gandhi himself go to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib… Who stops him? So, this is not a party thing, it is above party thing. Bittu said, ‘Tell one person… who stopped us from wearing bangles? Who stopped us from wearing turbans? Who stopped us from going to Gurudwara? So if Congress wants to protest, it should protest against Rahul Gandhi.

However, the minister did not say anything on the question whether he stood by his statement against Rahul Gandhi or not. Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries Bittu Jagatpura came to inaugurate the 57th Inter Railway Shooting Competition at the Shooting Range.

During the inaugural function, Union Minister Bittu objected to Rahul Gandhi’s statement in America and said that the Air Force chief wears a turban and the CISF chief is a Sikh. He said, ‘I am sitting in front of you. To talk like that… what does it mean… do it in America too. He said that you think that Rahul Gandhi is pappu or Rahul Gandhi is a very evil, sinful man.

Railways is trying to promote sports

Bittu said that the Railways will increase the budget for the purchase of sports equipment for the players and provide them with all kinds of facilities along with training by high-level trainers. He said, ‘Railways is making tireless efforts to promote sports. An indoor stadium will be constructed in Ganapati Nagar Railway Colony at a cost of 40.50 crores which will have all the facilities for sports such as basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, table tennis, wrestling etc.

Bittu should apologize for his statement

Some Congress workers reached the CBI Gate area to protest against Bittu but were taken away by the police in a bus. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condemned the arrest of Congress workers. He wrote on ‘X’ that the arrest of Rajasthan Congress workers protesting against Union Minister Ravneet Bittu’s violent statement against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is condemnable. Ashok Gehlot said that Bittu should apologize for his statement.
