Naxalites have blasted an IED in Sukma. Many jawans have been injured in this. Two jawans are reported to have been martyred in the blast. An IED blast incident has been carried out by Naxalites in Silgarh area. The explosion by the Naxalites amid the movement of jawans has created a sensation in the area. Naxalites targeted the truck and blasted it. Two jawans were martyred in the blast, while many others were injured. The injured soldiers have been taken to a local hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. While the entire area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to trace the Naxalites.

A statement issued by the police said that on June 23, an advance party of 201 Cobra Vahini was moving from Camp Silgar under Jagargunda police station area to Camp Tekalgudem by truck and motorcycle. An IED was planted by Naxalites on the road from Camp Silgar to Tekalgudem with the intention of harming the security forces.

The statement said that during the movement, at around 3 am, a truck of 201 Cobra Corps was hit by an IED, in which the driver and co-driver were martyred on the spot and all other soldiers were safe.

The names of the martyred jawans are said to be Vishnu R and Shailendra. The bodies of the martyred soldiers are being taken out from the incident site. According to the information received, the injured soldiers have been taken to the hospital and are undergoing treatment.

On the other hand, after the IED blast incident, the search operation has been intensified in the entire area and Naxalites are being hunted down. The entire area has been cordoned off.

Naxalites printed fake notes, police caught them

On the other hand, for the first time in Chhattisgarh, police have seized fake notes printed by Naxalites. For the first time, security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh have seized a huge quantity of fake currency notes and the equipment used to print them from Naxalites.

According to the police, the Naxalites have been using fake notes in the weekly markets in the hinterland of Bastar region for long and duping innocent tribals. Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran G Chavan claimed that the Naxalites were trying to destabilize the Indian economy with this move.

He said the recovery was carried out on a forest hill near Korajguda village in the district on Saturday evening, while a joint team of security personnel from various forces was on a search operation.

Calling the seizure an important breakthrough in anti-Naxal operations, Chavan said it was the first time fake currency notes of Naxalites have been found in the state, which has been a problem for more than three decades.
