Anubhav Sinha reacts to the Kandahar hijack controversy
Director Anubhav Sinha’s web series ‘IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack’ was released on 29 August on Netflix. The series was mired in controversies upon its release. It featured stars like Vijay Varma, Rajeev Thakur and Patralekha. Everyone was in the spotlight with controversies. Now Anubhav Sinha has spoken about the web series controversy. He has termed this controversy as ‘Chabar’.
In fact, the naming of terrorists ‘Bhola’ and ‘Shankar’ in the series led to controversy and calls for a boycott of the series began. In an interview with the casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Anhav spoke about this and said that there are two sides to everything. It’s up to you what you want to see.

When Anubhav Sinha was asked about the controversy surrounding the film, he said, “It is quite confusing. One side is love and the other side is dung. So what you pay attention to is up to you.”

I want to do my work with full sincerity and hard work. If I didn’t like the story I wouldn’t have worked on it. I loved this story so I created this series. Now all that is left is hard work and the rest depends on the people. “People can spoil it or improve it if they want.”
Summons were sent to Netflix
The controversy of this series grew so much that the matter reached the government. The Indian government also sent summons to the Netflix content head. After this, Netflix also talked about changing it.
