Maharashtra cadre trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar has been in constant controversy. Meanwhile, an old video of his mother Manorama has gone viral. In this she is seen threatening some people with a pistol. It is being said that this video is from last year i.e. 2023. The case is linked to an attempt to grab farmers’ lands. It is alleged that she was threatening the farmer over possession of the land.
Dilip Khedkar, father of Pooja Khedkar, is said to have accumulated wealth worth crores during his employment. Illegal business was also done in many places. This video is from the time when Dilip Khedkar tried to grab farmers’ land. When the farmers objected to this, Pooja Khedkar’s mother Manorama reached there with a bouncer. He threatened the farmers. Meanwhile, she had a gun in her hand, with which she was threatening the farmers. When the farmers tried to register a complaint against them at the Pune police station, their complaint could not be registered due to pressure.

A few days ago, another video of Pooja Khedkar’s mother also went viral. He attacked the mediapersons who were standing outside the house making videos. Pooja Khedkar’s mother said that if my daughter commits suicide, I will let you all inside. He also threatened mediapersons and shot cameras.

Pooja has been transferred to Washim as soon as the alleged abuse of her authority as a civil service officer came to light. However, the matter does not seem to end with the transfer and the Center has constituted a committee to look into matters related to worship. Pooja is accused of abuse under the disabled and other backward classes. After being transferred, IAS officer Pooja Khedkar took charge as Assistant District Magistrate at Washim District Collectorate in Vidarbha region of the state on Thursday.

Pooja is a 2022 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre. He secured 841st rank in UPSC exam. Pooja will now complete the remainder of her tenure as a trainee IAS in Washim till 30th July 2025. Pooja is the daughter of Dilip Khedkar, a former government employee of Pathardi, Ahmednagar. His grandfather Jagannathrao Budhwant was also an IAS officer. While father Dilip was Commissioner in Pollution Department. After retirement, he also contested Lok Sabha elections from Ahmednagar South seat this year. Pooja’s mother Dr. Manorama Khedkar is a publicly appointed Sarpanch of Bhalgaon. Pooja’s net worth is Rs 17 crore.
