Emraan Hashmi said that Ameesha Patel thought she did not know acting.
Ameesha Patel started her career in the year 2000 with ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hai’ with Hrithik Roshan. His first film proved to be a blockbuster. After this she became very famous and in the same year her ‘Gadar’ with Sunny Deol was also released. Ameesha’s second film was also a huge earner. Career was growing and after this Ameesha got the film ‘Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar’. Emraan Hashmi revealed that he is going to debut with Ameesha in this film. But Ameesha refused to work with him in the film.
While talking about this in an interview recently, Emraan Hashmi said that Ameesha felt she was not suitable for the role. Emraan will not be able to do justice to this role. He said, “Amisha felt that I cannot do this. She had just delivered a hit film, so she was worried and wanted the casting to be right for the hero. She wanted an experienced actor to be cast for the role, then she went to Bhatt sir and said I don’t think Emraan is right. I was angry. I was very angry with him. Now that I look back, I think Ameesha was right in her opinion.

Along with this, in the same interview, Emraan Hashmi also revealed that he went on the sets in anger to take revenge from Ameesha. He said, “I used to go to film sets and watch them shoot, I used to watch them. I also told Bhatt sir to give me a chance. It wasn’t that I really couldn’t act. It was Ameesha who felt that I would not be able to act.

Emraan further said, “I was free at that time, so I used to go to the film sets because I wanted to be associated with the film. I used to go to the set everyday. Although I wasn’t in the movie, I just went to watch. Then I signed my first film ‘Footpath’ with Special Films. After this, Ameesha Patel was seen in ‘Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar’ with Jimmy Shergill.
