Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar is currently undertaking Jan Samman Yatra in the state. Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar said that he made a big mistake in the Lok Sabha elections and now he regrets his mistake. Ajit Pawar said that he made a mistake by fielding his wife Sunetra Pawar against his sister Supriya Sule in the Lok Sabha elections.

In the Lok Sabha elections held in the country, Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra Pawar contested against Supriya Sule from Baramati seat, in which Sunetra Pawar faced a crushing defeat. However, MP Supriya Sule, daughter of Sharad Pawar faction Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, has been MP from this seat for the last three terms. However, Sunetra Pawar was elected to the Rajya Sabha after losing to Supriya Sule.

Ajit Pawar regretted his mistake

Ajit Pawar said, I love all my sisters very much and one should never let politics enter one’s home. He said that I have made a mistake by putting my wife Sunetra in front of my sister Supriya Sule. This should not have happened, although the party decided to field Sunetra against Supriya but now I feel it should not have happened.

What was said on Rakshabandhan?

The country will celebrate Raksha Bandhan next week on August 19, which is why when Ajit Pawar was asked if he would visit sister Supriya Sule on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, he said, “I am currently on a tour.” Rajya and if Supriya and I are at the same place on the day of Rakshabandhan, we will definitely meet. Also, referring to Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar said that Sharad Pawar is the elder of our house.

Cracks in relationships

In July last year, there was a rift between Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar, after which the party split into two, with Ajit Pawar joining hands with his MLAs of the Eknath Shinde group’s Shiv Sena and BJP alliance.

Preparations for assembly elections have intensified

Maharashtra is going to hold assembly elections in October, for which preparations are being made, in this context, Ajit Pawar is also traveling to strengthen his vote bank in the state. During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister mentioned the government’s Mukhya Pradhan Ladki Bahun Yojana (Mukhyan Mantri Ladki Bahin Yojana) which aims to empower women. Under this scheme, women will be given an amount of Rs 1500 per month.
