During a stand-up comedy performance in Mumbai, Munwar Farooqui used some words that heated up the political atmosphere in Maharashtra. In fact, Munavwar had made such jokes about people living in Konkan during his demonstration, which led some leaders of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and BJP leader Nitish Rane to attack him. Munwar Farooqui faced public ire for using a swear word while doing comedy. BJP leader Nitesh Rane also warned him. Now after this controversy, Munawwar has publicly apologized to everyone.
Munavwar shared a video post on his social media and apologized to the people living in Konkan. Even before this, a complaint of insulting Hindu deities was filed against Munwar in 2021. After this complaint, the police arrested Munwar. He was in police custody for a few days. This is the reason why Munavwar has apologized to all the people living in Konkan before the controversy escalates on the Konkan issue.

Apologized while posting the video
In his video shared on social media, Munawar Farooqui is seen saying that a few days ago I had a little conversation with the audience in a program, but it was not even a joke, it was just talk. At that time something about Konkan came to light that I know many people live in Taloja who are from Konkan and many of my friends also live there. But we deviated a little from the topic and the whole thing changed.

Fans said there was no need for it
Next Bigg Boss 17 Winner said that people think I made fun of Konkan and people living in Konkan. But I had no such intention. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. But if my words hurt anyone’s feelings, I publicly apologize to you all. In the caption of this video, Munavwar wrote in Marathi that I love Konkan and I apologize (Konkan var maje bahu prem aani mari maaf). Commenting below his video, some fans wrote that he doesn’t need to apologize like this. But he has done a good job apologizing. On the career front, Munawar Farooqui was recently seen at the grand finale of MTV Splitsvilla. Soon he is going to make his acting debut with Hotstar’s web series.
