Youth dies due to dog bite
A youth lost his life after being bitten by a dog in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The family said that the son was going to work in the factory when the dog bit him. After this he was admitted to the hospital for urgent treatment, but he did not get relief. His illness progressed and he died.
The young man was the sole earner in the house. He was working in a factory. He also had the responsibility of his parents and two younger brothers. 20 days ago he was bitten by a stray dog on his way to the factory. After this his health continued to deteriorate. Apart from Ujjain, he did not recover even after being treated at a hospital in Indore. Doctors also asked to take him home.
The young man told his father…
According to family members, the youth himself told his father that he would not survive. He has only 2 hours. Take it home. The father believed his son and dropped him from the auto in front of the house when he lost his life. The boy’s name is Sonu Sharma. He was working in a cardboard manufacturing factory in Ganesh Nagar Nagziri Vikram Udyogpuri.
After being bitten by the dog, the family took Sonu to the district hospital. While treating him here, the doctor gave him two injections. Everything went well for a week, but Sonu started getting sick again. He got fever. Saliva also started falling from his mouth. Seeing Sonu’s deteriorating condition, the family again took him to the hospital, where the doctor said he was infected with rabies and asked to be treated in another hospital.
He was admitted to a hospital in Indore
The family took Sonu to a hospital in Indore for treatment. But here too it did not go well. Sonu’s father Manoj Sharma said that we are poor people. Sonu Vikram used to work in Udyogpuri and take care of household expenses. I earn a little by driving autos, but Sonu’s earnings used to cost the whole house. Our rod of old age is gone. God only knows what will happen to us now.
Due to Sonu’s death, the family members are in bad condition and are crying. No one can believe that Sonu is no longer with us. Whatever the officials of the municipality may say about catching dogs, but if we look at the records of the last 8 months, it will be known that as many as 4541 people who came to the district hospital for treatment were bitten by dogs.
