The victim girl told the police that her maternal uncle’s house is in the Chilwatal police station area of ​​Gorakhpur. In the year 2021, she got married to a young man living in Sahjanwa Police Station area. Everything went well until a few days after the wedding. The husband came to the wedding on holiday and stayed home for about two months. Meanwhile the atmosphere was very happy. Husband went to Mumbai for job.
The victim told the police
According to the victim, after her husband went out, the family members started demanding Rs 5 lakh in cash and a car. I told him that this is not possible now. In such a situation, the in-laws used to taunt and harass her. Meanwhile, whenever my daughter-in-law found me alone, she used to tease me. attempted rape. I protested again and again. One day the people of the house went out for some work. I was alone at home and my brother-in-law took the opportunity to force himself on me. I was very hurt and started crying after the rape incident, after which my brother-in-law threatened to kill both you and your husband if you don’t tell anyone. I got scared. I didn’t tell anyone.
After few days my father in law also started molesting me. I said I will tell your deeds to everyone in the house. I will also tell your son this, then he said who will believe what you say, what I say everyone will believe it to be true. One day he raped me. Then I called my husband and told everything. Hearing this, the husband came to the village and took her with him to Mumbai. After taking me to Mumbai he started taunting me about this incident. started hitting me. He said if all this happened against your will then why didn’t you file a police case. Then I said you take me to the village I will file a case.
According to the victim, her husband brought her home from Mumbai and his family members trapped her and started beating her badly. Somehow I came to my mother’s house. My brother-in-law also followed me with his two friends and started taking away my innocent baby girl from me. He could not take my child because of the intervention of the neighbors. After which I came with my father to file a complaint in the police station.

Regarding this, SP North Jitendra Srivastav said that the Sahjanwa police has received a complaint. The married woman has been sent for medical examination. After the report, further action will be taken based on the evidence and facts.
