Governor of West Bengal CV Anand Bose
West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose termed the incident of violence and vandalism at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital as shameful. After visiting the hospital, he hit out at the state government in a press conference. He said that the incident in West Bengal is a shame to humanity. I saw what I heard. Those who protect the law are involved in a conspiracy.
Governor Bose said that mothers and daughters are not being protected in Bengal. The first responsibility lies with the state government. Law and order is the responsibility of the state government. Working at night is everyone’s right but not so in Bengal. It is not safe to work at night in Bengal. Doctors want justice and security. Such incidents will not be recorded. What is happening in Bengal is not right. Atrocities against women are not tolerated.
